If you’ve been following us for a while, you already know that Piaget—and the Polo in particular—is one of the watches that truly sparked our passion for vintage horology. But this… this is the next chapter.

Beyond the fact that you’re literally wearing a solid gold ingot on your wrist, the construction is simply exceptional. The bracelet is a masterpiece on its own: incredibly comfortable, fluid, and perfectly engineered.

Then there’s the finish. The Imperator came in several different textures, but this « tree bark » finish is by far one of the most striking. It catches and plays with the light in a way that almost outshines diamonds.

Honestly? It has the unmistakable energy of a retired drug kingpin who’s turned his life around… and somehow, that only makes it even cooler. Either way, it’s a watch that deserves a place in any serious collection.
